Many of us have collections of records and cassette tapes,
but nowhere to play them or easily to convert to a modern
digital format. Old record players, if they have been used
over many years, can actually damage records, so it is important,
if you wish to keep your collection in good order, to use
a record player that is both high quality, and in full working
order (especially the stylus!). Our Steepletone Edinburgh

It also includes a fully functional CD player (2 players
in fact), an FM/MW radio, and a cassette player. What's
more it also allows you to digitize your music collection
in a very easy and simple way. Unlike other record players
that can be used to transfer vinyl to digital audio files,
this product does really make life easier. You don't even
need to connect to your PC and run complicated software
to do it - you just put in a recordable CD and transfer
the music directly onto the CD. You can then either play
back the recorded music using the CD, or even transfer the
files to your PC (for storage, transfer to MP3 Player etc)

The Edinburgh Music
Center comes in two colour options. The darker
wood colour is shown in the main photograph above, and
the lighter wood version is shown here on the left. What
we particularly like about this music centre is the quality,
which is very good indeed for this price level. It also
scores well for transfering vinyl records, cassette tapes,
radio broadcasts onto CD, not only because the recording
quality is good, but because it is just so simple and
intuitive to use - you don't even need to connect
this product up to a computer.
Our optional wooden table stand for the Steepletone Edinburgh
5-in-1 Music Centre screws directly into the base of the
unit, providing a stable and attractive support, as well as convenient storage space for records and CDs
