age using the finest handbuilt quality.
The Guvnor bicycle comes in two frame sizes: 20.5", 22.5".
There are two ways to select your frame - the most accurate
is to use inside leg measurement. The 20.5” frame suits
inside leg measurements 33 to 37”. Inside leg length guide
- add 11-15” to frame size. However, as a rough rule of
thumb, if the rider is over 6 foot tall, the 22.5" frame
will almost certainly be more comfortable.
The Frame used on th Guvnor is the classic Reynolds 531.
Reynolds 531 is a brand name, registered to Reynolds Cycle
Technology (Birmingham, United Kingdom). The 531 uses
a manganese-molybdenum medium carbon steel bicycle tubing,
first introduced in 1935, and for many years at the forefront
of alloy steel tubing technology. Indeed, during a 10
year period after the War, 8 Tour de France races were
won using Reynolds 531 frames.
